2024 Fall Ball

We hope you're having a great summer. Hard to believe that it's already August which marks when we normally open our Fall Ball Registration. This year, registration will open July 29th and close August 19th to allow us time to organize teams. We WILL NOT accept registrations after the 19th as that creates a lot of extra work for our volunteers.

Cost will again be $50 and your player will receive 2 CL practice shirts which will be used as uniforms for games. The program will begin August 26th and end the week of September 23rd, so 5 weeks with 10 commitments for the lower two groups and around 15 for the upper. Pretty good value for $50 and it's a great time of year to be outside playing ball!

Below are details for this year's program.

Coach Pitch / Machine Pitch
Ages – 2023 league age 6-8
Ability Level – kids age 8 that are still developing as well as 6’s and 7’s; parents should be advised that hard baseballs will be utilized.
Game Play
Pitching – machine pitch – 5 pitches
6 innings
3 outs
4 runs/inning maximum
Roster bat
Every kid plays infield at least 1 inning
Practices on Monday or Tuesday
Games on Wednesday or Thursday

Minors
Ages – 2023 league age 8-11
Ability level – kids age 8 that want to experience minors before 2024 as well as minors level kids that are still developing before going to the majors
Game Play = Regular season minors rules
Estimated Teams (4 to 6) – kids will be evenly split amongst the teams
Practices on Monday or Tuesday
Games on Wednesday or Thursday

Majors
Ages – 2023 league age 9-11
Ability level – returning majors players and kids ages 9 and up that want to try majors ahead of the 2024 season
Game Play = Regular Season majors rules
Kids will stick with regular season team when possible, and remaining players will be distributed based on a manager’s meeting and equal age/ability distribution process
Practices 1-2 nights per week
Games 1-2 nights per week
