Opening Ceremonies

opening ceremony is this Saturday morning at 9:30 AM. We ask that you have your player to the complex to line up around 9AM. See the attached map which shows the areas to line-up on the tee-ball field. This year we are targeting a shorter 30 minute program so we will walk the kids onto Collins Field at 9:20 before the event starts at 9:30.

This year's ceremony will include Rowan Grace (contestant on NBC's The Voice) singing the National Anthem followed by recognition of our 12 year old players and recognition of Sam Zimiga and Jim Brandt for their lengthy contributions to the league. We're excited to welcome Sheriff Mueller to throw out the first pitch and will follow that by awarding each division's top raffle seller. Drawing for raffle winners will not be announced during the ceremony but you can claim your prize by viewing the winner's list at the concession stand. Following the ceremony, games will be played throughout the day and a home run derby and fastest baserunner competition will be held on Tony Keen Field.

Raffle coordinators for each team can turn in tickets to John Kaiser, CLLL Fundraising Director, by contacting him direct at 605-484-4797. Tickets are due by Friday May 5th. Please write your player's name on the back of the tickets so we can determine who was the top seller in each respective division.
