Majors Try-outs

Majors Try-outs are this Saturday, March 4th and make-ups are Monday March 6th. All try-outs will be held at Post 22. Please check-in at their main fieldhouse. Weather will make the indoor/outdoor aspect a game time decision so please have your player dress accordingly for being indoors or outdoors.

Try-outs on Saturday consist of:
12:00 - 1:30 - 12 year olds only
1:30 - 3:00 - 11's and 10's (including minors that have decided to try-out for majors)
*NOTE: only minors players that try-out are eligible to be called up to majors later in the season.

Make-up try-outs are on Monday night from 5:00-6:00 at Post 22's indoor facility. Please respond to this email if you need to come to the make-up session.

Your player should bring a baseball glove and athletic shoes. They will be asked to field ground balls, pop flies, run bases, and hit. They can bring their own bats and helmets but we will also have equipment if they need it.

The draft is Tuesday March 7th. Your player's new coach will contact you that night. If your player is not drafted, our majors director will call you to explain next steps for minors try-outs.
